Shutters Day Nursery specialises in child care while you are at work, our aim is to ensure the happiness, well being, and all round development of each individual child entrusted into our care. We are OFSTED approved providing pre school education for all children. All children need and deserve to spend their formative years in a happy, caring, safe and stimulating environment which supports the care they receive at home.

Visitors to Shutters Day Nursery are aware of the quality and quantity of the equipment, toys, furnishings and the attention to safety. Most importantly, they will meet the staff, who has experience, dedication, cheerful enthusiasm and the qualifications, which create a warm, relaxed and friendly atmosphere. This is essential for the happiness, comfort and all round development of small children.

Older children take advantage of the Nursery School. Children have ample opportunity for unstructured play, but are also encouraged from an early age to enjoy painting, sand and water play movement, dancing and singing. There is a high ratio of staff to children, so no child is ever neglected.

The nursery provide a warm and safe environment in which to stimulate your child in an atmosphere of friendliness and enthusiasm. We provide nutritious home cooked meals; all the staff are qualified and vetted. We have an excellent parent partnership.

We are open 50 weeks a year and are only closed at Christmas and Bank Holidays. We are open Monday - Friday from 7.30 am to 6.00 pm.
